Trivial answer

I have been unable to blog lately but owe you an answer to the most recent trivia question, and here it is: From Africa eastward, the dozen countries that lie on the equator are Sao Tome and Principe, Gabon, Republic of The Congo, Democratic Republic of The Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, Indonesia, Kiribati (the equator may or may not touch dry land), Ecuador, Colombia and Brazil.
